A photographic work depicting the London Eye on the River Thames, reimagined as a charged threshold rather than a tourist landmark. A cargo vessel appears to pass through its circular form, collapsing scale and momentarily unsettling the city’s sense of order.
The familiar silhouette becomes a portal. Infrastructure shifts from spectacle to rupture, suggesting that London’s surface stability conceals deeper temporal currents. The image balances precision and impossibility, allowing the ordinary skyline to slip into something unstable and symbolic.
Printed as a large-format archival pigment print on fine art paper, this work is intended to be experienced physically, at scale. The compositional clarity anchors the intervention, drawing the viewer into a scene that feels both documentary and disrupted.
This work forms part of the visual universe surrounding LDN Reimagined and the wider symbolic language that continues into Dysmas Orbis.
